The main food processing bowl is sturdy and very weighty and fits into place with a satisfying clunk. Every accessory and tool seem to fit together exactly as they should. This food processor comes with a wide selection of useful accessories. Included are three sizes of a bowl, offering 3.6-, 2.6- and 1.1-litre options. This means you can choose the bowl to fit the quantity of food you need to prepare.

Depending on how house-proud you are, or how minimalist you like your kitchen to be, you may or may not want to leave the Magimix 5200 XL on permanent display in your kitchen. While the overall design is fairly attractive and minimal, it is a bit chunky looking. However, it’s clean lines and light gloss finish does add to its attractiveness, so if you want it to have a permanent space in your kitchen, it won’t be an eye-sore. For those who want to tuck the Magimix 5200 XL away in a kitchen cupboard and pull it out when needed, its weight can go against this and the prospect of heaving it out of a cupboard each time you need it may be quite off-putting.
Ease of use
The processor has an auto-speed setting only, which means you can’t control the speed yourself. While it can be hard to adapt to if you previously owned a processor with varying speed control, it doesn’t really cause any problems and you do get used to it.
